There ain’t a better way to experience Spain than with the taste of real wine and tapas. And of couse, we love to include biking to everything! So join us to this trip that we will start by pedaling through the old ancient neighbourhoods and by a variety of sights of Barcelona. Get inspired by them just like many artist’s before you and allow yourself to get hungry, because after everything, we will take a seat at a restaurant in bohemian El Born, where they serve you a variety of traditional Spanish food and wine. This experience won’t leave you empty!

Overview

Immerse yourself in the Bohemian atmosphere of some of Barcelona’s most ancient neighbourhoods, exploring the very streets which have inspired some of history’s most influential artists. And once you’ve worked up that appetite, try a some of the best wines from the region accompanied by a selection of classic Spanish dishes with a modern twist.

With our e-bikes fully charged and ready to go, we’ll wind our way through the medieval alleyways of El Born and discover why the neighbourhood has played such a key role in the formation of the modern Catalan identity. Crossing the Passeig Picasso, named in honour of one of the areas most famous residents, we’ll ramble through the fin-de-siècle charm of the Parc de la Ciutadella (Park of the Citadel) before heading to the Port Olímpic (Olympic Port) to see the impressive legacy of the ‘92 games. From there, we’ll cruise along shores of the Mediterranean under the shade of the palm trees which line the promenade of Barcelona’s famous Barceloneta beach. At the Port Vell (Old Port), you’ll find out why these seaside neighbourhoods are so important to the history of modern art and why the city lays claim to so many cathedrals.

After having journeyed through the many ages of the city, we’ll finish off the tour at one of El Born’s chiquest restaurants: El Foro. Here we’ll toast Barcelona with a sample of the best Catalan cava and wine, along with a selection of traditional dishes from around Spain, all prepared with the restaurant’s trademark modern twist.

This is the best way to get to know the many faces of modern Barcelona. You’ll quickly realise how, even with all the monumental changes that these ancient neighbourhoods have experienced, the city still boasts the same bohemian identity it always has.
